About Clozo

Clozo is an EU-first tool that turns a proposal, an e-signature, an invoice and a payment into a single shareable link — built specifically for European freelancers and the self-employed.

Why we built it

Before Clozo, the people behind it freelanced across the EU and lived the same friction every month: a proposal in Word, a PDF over email, a chase for the signature, a separate invoice, and a manual bank transfer that may or may not arrive on time. Each step lived in a different tool, and cross-border EU VAT made it worse.

Clozo collapses that into one link. Your client opens it, signs under eIDAS, and pays by card, iDEAL, Bancontact, Bizum or SEPA — and the EU VAT reverse-charge is handled for you. When structured e-invoicing (ZUGFeRD, XRechnung, Factur-X, Peppol UBL, FacturaE, FatturaPA) is what your client needs, Clozo outputs the right format file for their market.

Who we are

Clozo is built by a small team and was founded in 2025 by Andrei Diachenko, based in Oviedo, Spain. We operate as an EU-based controller under GDPR, with all data hosted in the EEA. Articles on this blog are published under the Clozo Team byline — written by the people building the product, reviewed by native speakers for each locale.
