FAQ

What fields are required vs. optional?

Required: your full name, email, country on signup; client name + email; proposal title + at least one line item. Everything else (logo, VAT, address) is optional but makes your proposals look professional.

Can I skip the profile step?

Yes — you can send a proposal with just your name. But adding a company name and logo materially increases sign rates according to our data.

How does payment work?

For online payment you need a Stripe account connected in Settings → Payments. For bank-transfer only (SEPA), just fill in your IBAN. Either way, Clozo tracks whether the client has paid.

What do I need to send a legally valid invoice in the EU?

VAT regime (Standard, Kleinunternehmer, KOR, Auto-entrepreneur) and your VAT number if you charge VAT. See the VAT Guide for details per country.

Is my data safe?

All traffic is HTTPS. IBAN numbers are encrypted at rest. We are GDPR-compliant and you can export or delete your data at any time from Settings.

We will never ask for your password or 2FA code
