Five things to set up in your first week
The basics get you sending proposals. These five extras compound over the next dozen — saving an hour a month each.
Once you've sent your first 2-3 proposals manually, patterns emerge. The clients you serve, the line items you reuse, the payment terms you prefer. The Settings → Templates and Settings → Recurring sections are where you bake those patterns in so the next proposal takes 30 seconds instead of 10 minutes.
Step by step
Save a Template.
From any proposal, click
Save as templatein the Actions menu. Next time, start a proposal from/templatesand pre-fill all line items, payment terms, and language defaults.Set up Recurring.
Got a retainer client? At
/recurring, configure a proposal to auto-generate weekly, biweekly, monthly, or quarterly. Clozo creates the draft on schedule; you review and clickSend(or enable full auto-send for trusted clients).Time tracking.
At
/time-tracking, log billable hours against a project. When you're ready to bill, clickCreate proposal from timeand the tracked entries become line items. Hourly rate from your client record auto-applies.Auto-reminders.
At
/settings/profile, toggleSend overdue reminders. Clozo sends a polite nudge at 3 days overdue, a firmer one at 7, and a formal notice at 14 (referencing the EU Late Payment Directive). Tone escalates; you can edit the templates per locale.Logo and brand.
At
/settings/profile, upload a logo (PNG, max 2 MB, recommended 400×400). It appears on every proposal, invoice, and receipt PDF. The amber accent on PDFs matches the Clozo brand by default; if you want a custom accent colour, that's coming in a future release.
