The 5-step onboarding checklist
Five things to do before your first proposal goes out. Each step takes 2-5 minutes. Skip any step and Clozo will keep reminding you on the dashboard.
Every step has a "why this matters" note so you know what breaks if you skip it. The dashboard shows your current progress as a horizontal bar; clicking any incomplete step jumps you straight to the right settings page.
Step by step
Complete your profile.
Name, country, currency, language, tax regime, and address. Required: name, country, currency. Without them, Clozo can't generate a legally valid invoice. Link:
/settings/profile.Connect Stripe (optional but recommended).
This unlocks online card payments. Go to
/settings/paymentsand follow the Stripe Connect onboarding (about 5 minutes; bring an ID document and your business bank IBAN). Without Stripe, your clients can still pay via SEPA bank transfer using the QR code on your invoice.Add your first client.
Name, email, country, and B2B/B2C flag. The country and B2B/B2C flag determine which VAT rule applies. Link:

If you do similar work repeatedly, save a template with default line items, payment terms, and language. Saves 5-10 minutes on every future proposal. Link:

Click
New proposalfrom the dashboard or/proposals/new. Fill in the line items, deposit percentage, and dates. HitSendand Clozo emails the client a secure signing link. Link:/proposals/new.
