"My client says they didn't get the email"
The most common support question Clozo gets. Five checks resolve nearly all cases โ most of the time, the email landed in spam.
Email delivery is best-effort, not guaranteed. A small percentage of legitimate transactional emails get filtered, throttled, or silently dropped by recipient mail servers. The good news: nearly every case has a fast fix. This article walks the diagnostic in order, easiest checks first.
Step by step
Open the proposal detail page
and check the Timeline. The relevant event ("Sent at HH:MM", "Signed at HH:MM", etc.) must be present โ if not, the email was never queued.
Ask the recipient to search their inbox
for
useclozo.com, including spam, promotions, and any rules-folders.Click

Why this works this way
Email reliability depends on three things outside Clozo's control: the recipient's mail provider's spam rules, the recipient's account-level filters, and the relationship between the sender domain (useclozo.com) and the recipient's domain. Clozo authenticates outbound mail with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and sends through Resend (a high-reputation transactional provider), but corporate filters can still flag a low-volume sender or route based on attachment type.
When all else fails, the public link on the proposal page works without an email โ copy it, send it via WhatsApp / Slack / your own email, and the client can sign from there.
