Logo and branding: putting your mark on every PDF
Upload a logo once and it appears on every proposal, invoice, receipt, and signed agreement โ no per-document configuration, no broken assets to chase.
Branding on freelancer documents matters more than it should โ clients judge a proposal partly by how professional it looks before they read a word. Clozo's PDF templates handle the heavy lifting (typography, spacing, legal block placement); your job is one logo upload. Once it's there, every future document carries it.
Step by step
Open Settings โ Profile โ Brand.
Click
Upload logo.Pick a file.
PNG (transparent background recommended), JPG, or SVG. Max 2 MB. Square aspect ratio (1:1) preserves cleanly; very wide or tall logos get letterboxed in the PDF header.
Confirm the preview.
Clozo shows how the logo will appear in the PDF header. Adjust the source file and re-upload if it doesn't look right.
Save.
The logo is encrypted in transit and stored in R2 immediately. Open any future proposal preview to see it in place.
Replace or remove anytime.
Use
Replace logoto upload a new file (the old R2 object is deleted), orRemove logoto render PDFs without one.
Why this works this way
The logo is stored in Cloudflare R2 (object key usr_{your_id}/logo.{ext}) and rendered into every PDF via a presigned URL refreshed at render time. We don't bake it into a template โ that lets you swap the logo later and have all future documents pick up the new one (already-rendered PDFs keep the old logo, frozen for legal traceability). PDFs render at print quality (300 DPI equivalent), so a small logo will look pixelated. We don't upscale; if the logo file is 50ร50, the PDF prints it at 50ร50 worth of pixels. Aim for at least 400ร400; PNG with transparent background renders cleanly on the white invoice surface.
